3Kites was asked to write an introductory piece for the ‘Solicitors Journal’ Technology Focus supplement looking ahead to what IT teams might grapple with in 2015 as confidence in the economic recovery seeps back into the plans and budgets of many law firms. This article ponders the areas (such as hosting, mobility and process) that will benefit from increased activity whilst also considering the conditions (including merger activity and Partners’ attitudes to innovation and investment) which affect not only the appetite for such projects, but also the likelihood of their success.
