My career in Legal IT began in 1999 having previously worked at property consultant Knight Frank where I helped to establish and run the IT Department.  My Legal IT experience is broad, having been an IT Director in a 120-user London law firm before joining the legal solutions provider Tikit Ltd as Client Services Manager where I managed the Legal Applications Support team as well as the Outsourcing team.  This allowed me not only to have a good understanding of the main legal applications but also on-site experience of how law firms used them. 

 

In 2007, I decided to utilise my knowledge of working with law firms as an independent IT consultant, joining 3Kites in June 2018 to operate alongside others with common shared values. 

 

During my time as an IT Consultant I have partnered closely with a number of clients to help them find the best solutions for their organisation.  This has often meant working with them beyond the point of software selection to ensure that solutions were implemented and adopted in a way which helped them to realise their stated objectives. 

 

My experience includes: 

• Undertaking system reviews and software selections 

• Providing strategic IT advice 

• IT service management including: reviews; recommendations; supplier selection and implementation 

• IT outsourcing including: procurement; delivery and supplier performance monitoring 

• Relationship management within organisations as well as between clients and suppliers
