About the event

We know that Knowledge and Learning teams have been thinking about the topic of supervision and training all the more intensely over the last few months and hope that it will be useful to have a discussion about this amongst peers.

Knowledge projects, processes and systems have been designed over recent years to focus increasingly on promoting efficiency.   But to what extent has a combination of increased automation and a decrease in formal supervision changed the dynamic to the detriment of lawyer development?  With a remote working model likely to be the norm for some time, how can firms and corporate legal teams:

  • Ensure they are managing risk by supervising junior lawyers effectively and
  • Facilitate the sharing of knowledge, so that junior lawyers continue to have the support and guidance they need to develop their skills?

Join us for an interactive online discussion on Wednesday 11 November at 17.00 GMT, where we will consider how this challenge is being met and what steps can be taken to make this easier.
