3Kites Consulting & Kemp IT Law - Considerations when planning to implement on-premise and transition to the cloud

Whilst many firms are now looking at cloud-based versions of what have previously been on-premise applications, concerns remain about the maturity of some of these cloud versions with the result that interim strategies are being considered.  These include implementing applications on-premise initially and then transitioning to the cloud when the respective application has reached a suitable level of maturity in this environment.  However, this requires additional planning to ensure that major surprises are avoided when making the change.
