I have worked in knowledge management as both a practising litigator (at CMS and Olswang, pre-merger) and a senior professional support lawyer in a global disputes team (SJB/KWM), which has given me a uniquely practical perspective on knowledge curation and access to knowledge for the busy lawyer.  Process efficiency and project management have been integral to my work and I have advised on and implemented cost and matter management programmes within practice teams.  I am an accredited Legal Project Manager and highly experienced legal trainer, having lectured at the College (now University) of Law - my work has also included designing and delivering LPM training programmes for lawyers.

 

As a creator, user and custodian of legal knowledge when working as a PSL, I am able to bridge the communication gaps sometimes present between stakeholders in KM projects.  I focus on the practical application of these projects for the lawyers, and their clients, and I enjoy working with them to solve the increasing challenge of legal efficiencies.
